We’re an independently owned and operated member of the Cedarwell family, which means the crew you see in Fort Worth is the crew you get, on every visit. No rotating subs, no mystery dispatch from three states away. The people below are the ones who answer the phone, pull into your driveway, and put the written price in your hand before a single tool comes out. They live here. They know that a spring in Wedgwood lets go differently than one in Lake Worth, because the soil shifts and the heat does what heat does to metal in Texas. That knowledge isn’t on a training slide. It’s just what happens when you’ve done this here long enough.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Jesse Calder, Owner
Jesse has been in the garage door trade since before Chamberlain started putting battery backups in openers, and he still opens the shop most mornings. He’s the one who set the rule about the written price before any work starts, and the one who answers the phone if you call after most people have gone to bed. His specialty is the weird stuff: doors that haven’t tracked right since a contractor hung them in 2007, openers that work only when it rains, the occasional door someone wedged shut with a two-by-four and a prayer. Jesse doesn’t sell you a door you don’t need. If a $14 bracket and an honest adjustment gets you another five years, he’ll tell you that first, even when the math says he shouldn’t.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Fernbrook for eleven years, and he’s the technician we send when the job involves a door that weighs more than the truck that brought him. Trained across all eight major brands we service, from LiftMaster to Raynor, he can diagnose a Genie opener fault code by ear half the time. Marcus lives in North Richland Hills with two greyhounds and a garage full of woodworking tools, which means he understands exactly how much a door matters to the rest of the house. He’s the one who started leaving the cleanup photo unprompted, long before it became part of the Care Promise. If Marcus tells you a spring has one more season in it, you should believe him.
Rebecca S., Senior Installer
Rebecca has been hanging doors in Tarrant County for nine years, and she’s the team lead on every full installation Fernbrook does from Benbrook to Saginaw. She’s certified on Clopay, Amarr, and Wayne Dalton product lines, and she’s handled everything from a standard 16×7 replacement to custom carriage doors on a 1930s Fairmount bungalow. Rebecca is particular about thresholds and jambs, the kind of particular that means your new door closes with a soft click instead of a rattle. She’s also the mother of two kids under six, so she gets exactly why a quiet opener and pet-safe lubricants matter when nap time and garage time collide. A lot of our Fort Worth customers ask for Rebecca by name now, and it’s not hard to see why.
Danny R., Service Coordinator
Danny is the voice on the phone most of the time, and he’s been answering live since 2016. No voicemail trees, no next-day callbacks. He took the 2 a.m. call when a family in Ridglea Hills had a door stuck open the night before a funeral, and he had Marcus there before 3. Before Fernbrook, Danny worked in logistics, and it shows: he knows which parts live on which truck, what’s in stock, and honestly what we can fix within the hour versus what needs a special order. He’ll ask about the door’s age, the brand if you know it, and whether there are kids or pets at home, not because he’s reading a script, but because the tech showing up at your door wants that answer before he arrives.
One Standard, Every Job
Every member of this crew works under the same rule, and it’s not a poster on a wall. It’s the Cedarwell Care Promise, and it gets delivered as a written price before any work starts, no exceptions. So what does that look like at your house, specifically? Shoe covers on hardwood, drop cloths on tile, quiet tools when the kids are asleep, pet-safe products where there’s a choice. We ask before we move or touch anything, including a dog crate or a stroller parked in the third bay. We explain the price before we do the work, not after. And before we leave, we clean up like it’s our own home and hand you a photo of the cleanup, not a handful of old screws. If any job isn’t done right, the 365-Day Done Right Promise means we make it right. No negotiation, no fine print. That standard is the same at every independently owned Cedarwell business, including ours in Fort Worth. The only thing that changes is the name on the truck and the person at the door.
